January Networking

Wightlink ferries' Travis Cooper is one of our newest members, providing business-to-business ferry travel at a lower rate so that more business can be transacted.

Jack of all trades came along to promote his property sourcing and business journalism services.

Julie Rodriguez, another new member, came along to promote her property sourcing business on Hayling Island, where we recently sold a seafront property. Investment in assisted living apartments is one of Julie's interests.

Another new member, Jackie Wright, is here to help you with your utilities, especially if you are a first-time buyer. All your bills and contracts will be reviewed for free by Jackie.

Jade Parrett-Harris works as a paralegal and trainee solicitor at Bramsdon and Childs. As one of our conveyancers, we work closely with Jade. Jade spoke this month about the importance of raising awareness among parents who don't have a will. Seven out of ten parents are not adequately prepared with a will to determine their children's legal guardian in the event of their absence.

Kobbii promotes two enterprises at our meetings, one being his Portsmouth Property Network, and the other Raw Fusion, a plant-based kitchen. He is now actively searching for a permanent venue to set up a monthly supper club.

Alexis Rendell from Tea Mountain attended the event to discuss his passion for tea, offering various types of blends and even custom branding.

Anna Smith from ALS Recruitment also joined us, where she spoke about her five-year journey in the business world and the struggles of balancing a professional life and three small children.

Debbie from Soul Balance brought her remote service, designed to reduce negative imbalances in one's body. She shared her inspiration for doing so, citing her mother's physical and mental ailments, which Debbie was able to alleviate with the use of crystals. Debbie mentioned she is available to collaborate with anyone in their own office space.

Andreas Nest of Action Coach followed and outlined how he helps businesses make money through guidance over the course of five years. Only two out of ten businesses who lack a coach achieve success, and to this, Andreas shared his mother's experience of juggling a fashion business and trying to keep up with a luxurious lifestyle until she became overwhelmed and depleted. His words of encouragement were that he would never let a business he works with go bankrupt.

Simon Kingsley, a recent member, is from Sparkstone Technology. His aim is to help businesses craft software and to provide the correct software solutions for each venture, whether for the back office, CRM, or stock control.

Phil from Pure Gym North Harbour discussed his personal training services, as well as his facility being the top spot on the south coast and the third-ranked in the country. He extended an invitation for individuals to join their Wednesday sessions, during which one can network with other members and make use of the 50% discount off their first visit and the complimentary membership for a friend.

Shah Siddiqui joined us for our event with Jack. Shah is from Portsmouth University and is eager to assist businesses in navigating the fourth industrial revolution with the help of data-driven technology.

Please keep an eye out for our next event happening on 28th February, venue to be confirmed.
